RAFA Rides: are you up to the challenge?
RAFA Rides is a chance for you to challenge yourself, create unique memories and make friends for life, all while showing your support for the RAF community. It’s suitable for both keen cyclists and amateur riders wherever you are in the world.
- RAFA Rides in Leicestershire offers a choice of four distances from 25 to 100 miles with elevation ranges of 1,000 to 6,000ft. Sign up as an individual rider or as part of a team and join us on Saturday 15 June 2024.
- RAFA Rides Your Way is the opportunity to join us from wherever you are in the world. Whether you take to the road on two wheels or an exercise bike with no wheels, whether you’re in the UK or another time zone, you can support the RAF Association however you want over a distance of your choice on 15 June 2024.
What makes RAFA Rides so special?
The event in 2023 was an incredible success with cyclists joining us from countries around the world. This year, we’re going even further when, for the first time ever, international Air Force charities across the globe will come together to host simultaneous cycling events across different time zones on 15 June 2024.

Why join us for RAFA Rides 2024?
By taking part in RAFA Rides you will be supporting the work of the RAF Association. For over 90 years we have provided much-needed help and support to millions in the RAF community and we are working tirelessly to help them feel connected to the RAF and equip them with the tools they need to live dignified, fulfilled and independent lives.
There are many reasons to join RAFA Rides. For Warrant Officer Stevie Joy, signing up for RAFA Rides 2022 was a way of taking control during a dark time. Taking part boosted his mental wellbeing and helped him deal with the death of his father, a proud member of the RAF Association who died in 2020 after contracting COVID-19.
